|We hope you have had a lovely Easter with your family. Did you have fun hunting for Easter eggs or following clues left by the Easter Bunny? How many eggs did you get? We hope you had chocolate eggs for breakfast but haven't eaten too many eggs this weekend?|
Write what you did with you family over the Easter Weekend – how did you make it fun whilst still staying safe? How are you all feelings at the moment, can you write down your feelings or draw a picture?
Find out facts about chicks, rabbits or lambs. Make a fact book. You could include a title, headings, interesting facts, pictures and labels. You might like to do research using the internet.
After going on a Spring walk, write a recount of where you went, who you went with, what you did and what it was like. Remember to; write in the past tense, include adjectives to explain how it felt, smelt and what it looked like. Also, remember to include capital letters and full stops.
Read some poems about Spring and then have a go at writing your own.
E.g. I can see… I can smell… I can hear… I can touch… I can taste…

Go on a minibeast hunt in your garden or whilst out on a walk. Discuss different habitats and why animals are suited to them e.g. a woodlouse under a log because it likes a damp and dark environment.
Go on a Spring walk – photograph evidence that Spring is here and collect ‘little snippets of Spring.’ Then create a Spring collage using all the tiny samples you collected.
Paint or make spring animals and stick them on your window (see below Rainbow I-Spy)
Research Spring; find out what happens in Spring, why are the days longer in Spring?
Create a Spring themed piece of artwork using spring flowers for inspiration.
