My Name is Aileen Wilson and I was appointed Staff Governor in February 2017. I work as a HLTA (Higher Level Teaching Assistant) at Hadfield Infant School. My role is covering PPA (Preparation Planning and Assessment) throughout the whole school and this has given me a fuller understanding of each year group and has enabled me to build a good relationship with all pupils, staff and parents.

The community in which children are growing up and my passion in helping every child to reach their potential, especially those children who may struggle due to a lack of confidence or learning difference is very important to me.

As a Governor I have used my skills to support the children to reach their full potential and to ensure they gain their entitlements. My colleagues reappointed me in September 2020 which governors confirmed at their October meeting ,which I was very pleased to accept.
