My name is Elle Pendlebury, I’m a new parent to Hadfield Infants as my son has just joined Reception (2025 intake). I have a background in design and technology and now run a print-on-demand business, developing software and managing production. I was keen to become a parent governor and hope that a mix of creative and practical experience will be useful to the board.

I don’t have direct experience in education, but my partner is a deputy head, so I see first-hand the commitment it takes. I believe strongly in the value of children’s education and the quality of their school experience, and I know it takes a village -governors, teachers, staff, and families working together - to achieve the best for every child.

My work gives me flexibility, and although I haven’t been a governor before, I’m committed and excited to serve on the board, to bring curiosity, calm judgement, and a willingness to learn, but most importantly, to support the board’s efforts to help every pupil reach their full potential.
