Hi, I’m Dan Lythgoe and have two boys both have been at the school. When the opportunity to become a parent governor arose I thought this would be an excellent way to make sure I am doing my best to provide the right environment for our children to flourish. Even though my children have left the school I continue to be a governor in a co-opted capacity.
I work in the NHS and by trade I am an Information Analyst, but as my career developed I am now responsible for working in an integrated Health, Social Care and voluntary services for the population of Manchester and Trafford. This requires developing stretching plans, holding organisations to account for their delivery against plan and making efficiencies that are not impacting on quality of care during these times of austerity. All these factors are as important for a high performing school. I hope my background will add to the skills our school has to maintain and develop it. I know our school works hard for the community and I want to play my part in that.
