School Vision Statement for 2026-2027

We want every child to grow into a confident, respectful and active member of our community. British Values are woven through our daily assemblies, curriculum and wider school life. Children learn about democracy, the rule of law, individual liberty, respect and tolerance, while our Pupil Voice gives children a genuine opportunity to share their views and contribute to improving our school. 

We are a fully inclusive school where every child is valued as equal and unique. We celebrate differences and develop children's understanding of protected characteristics through our curriculum and wider experiences, including intergenerational projects, learning about artists with disabilities, exploring different religions and celebrating a range of family backgrounds. 

Our Character Curriculum brings our values of Community, Aspiration, Perseverance and Excellence to life. Through explicit teaching, modelling and opportunities to put these qualities into practice, children develop resilience, empathy, respect, responsibility and independence. Children are given opportunities to put these values into practice through our community partnerships, charitable work, intergenerational projects, pupil leadership and enrichment experiences. 

We want our children to leave Hadfield Infant School not only ready to learn, but ready to make a positive contribution to their community and the wider world.
