At Hadfield Infant School, we believe that children learn best when they are comfortable and ready to be active throughout the day. We have therefore introduced a relaxed uniform policy to reflect this approach. 

Our school uniform is as follows: 

Tops – Yellow or white polo shirt (long sleeved shirts may be worn during the colder months) 

Jumpers/Cardigans - Royal blue sweatshirt or cardigan with the school logo 

Bottoms - Grey trousers, grey skirt, pinafore, or grey jogging bottoms. Grey or black leggings are also permitted. 

Footwear – Black trainers (Please do not wear coloured trainers) 

Summer option – A light cotton gingham dress in blue or yellow can be worn during the summer months and grey shorts. 

Jumpers and polo shirts carrying the school logo can be obtained from Brigadoon in Hadfiend. 

For P.E. children can come into school wearing their jogging bottoms, white T-shirt and black trainers. Jumpers/cardigans can also be worn. 

Jewellery – No jewellery should be worn. If a child has pierced ears and earrings are worn, parents must sign a disclaimer acknowledging that the school cannot accept responsibility for any accidents that may occur during school activities.
