Vision and Values

School Vision Statement for 2025-2026

We are keen for all of our children to be aware of our British Values and have incorporated these through our daily assemblies. Children learn about Democracy, Rule of Law, Individual Liberty, Respect and Tolerance. We also have a school council where children from each year group are nominated to represent their class and feedback the opinions of their peers in order to improve our school.

We are a fully inclusive school and ensure that children are taught that everyone is equal and unique. Differences make us individual. We ensure an awareness of protected characteristics is threaded through our curriculum through visiting old peoples' homes in our intergenerational work, learning about artists with disabilities, discovering and exploring different religions and learning about a range of different families.

At Hadfield Infants, we have carefully woven key character traits into our core values, ensuring that they are at the heart of everything we do. Through our dedicated character curriculum, we explicitly teach and model these traits so that children not only achieve academic success but also develop the personal qualities needed to thrive in life. Our approach nurtures resilience, empathy, respect, responsibility, helping every child to grow into a confident, compassionate, and active citizen who contributes positively to their community and the wider world.
