We have an active team of 15 Governors recruited from the local community. Their role, alongside the headteacher, is to actively lead and support the school ensuring continued school improvement.
They bring essential skills and knowledge and are totally committed to the success of our school within the community. The Governors publish an annual school profile which outlines the key aspects of the school (see the link on the left-hand menu).
Governors are also actively involved with projects at the school, often working with teachers or the headteacher to offer their expertise. Examples include:
- The Reading Friends Scheme
- The Season's Fairy scheme, which helps to track writing progress
- The development of the school grounds
- The school website
