In June 2008, every class had a trip to Longdendale Environmental Education Centre. Children spent the whole school day there doing a range of activities, including pond-dipping and mini-beast hunting!

The centre is based in a beautiful spot near Bottoms reservoir, and the children made full-use of the environment, doing tasks that encouraged them to use all of their senses.
