Our year 2 leavers put on a hugely entertaining show on Monday afternoon and Tuesday evening. They performed Happily Ever After, a musical written especially for us by Jessica Potts.
We asked Jane McCaughey, parent of one of the stars of the show, for a summary of the evening:
This is the show where our children get a chance to show not only what they can learn in school but how their personalities have been nurtured and developed during their time in the school. All songs are new to the children as well as the dance routines, and it shows how skillful they are when such a high standard is delivered by children so young.
The show was hilarious, with the children matched perfectly to the roles they played. It reached out to all generations and I am sure will be remembered fondly for many years to come.

- Joanne Craven for the fantastic dance routines
- Emma, Jess and Sam for scenery, props and make-up
- Ben for the sound effects and producing the DVD
- Marie for filming for the DVD
- Mrs Neill, Miss Thorpe, Jo Towell and Mrs Foley for putting it all together and hours of practice!
