To count down the days until Christmas, Reception had a very special advent calendar. Each day they were greeted with a new envelope with a surprise activity in it. To start the advent all of the children were invited to walk to Twig coffee shop on the High street to have a hot chocolate, complete with marshmallows and whipped cream. It is safe to say there were lots of chocolate mouths, whipped cream noses and big smiles when the children returned to school.
