It was the end of an era at Hadfield Infant school last week as we said farewell to Mrs Poyzer, who had been a teacher here for 25 years.

Children, parents, friends, governors and colleagues all gathered to say a well-deserved 'Thank-you' and 'Farewell'. We wish Hilary all the best as she looks forward to retirement and becoming a grandmother!

Mrs Poyzer wanted to pass on a message to all concerned; "A GREAT big thank you to everyone for my assembly and for the wonderful gifts. I was completely overwhelmed by gifts and good wishes from parents past and present and wouldn't know how to thank them".

We also said a big 'Thank You' to Jill Mason, who has been helping out in school this year, most recently working in Miss Keem's class.

We hope to see you again soon Jill!
